World's Stupidest Invention
Who the hell invented this button on the bottom of the
stapler. You push it, and then the metal square spins around
so that your staples fold outwards instead of inwards. I
never used that feature in my life. I know the guy was
probably thinking, "You know, if we add another piece of metal
on this thing, I think we can increase the sale price by 25
cents." When is someone ever going to invent a "normal"
stapler for "normal" people? I mean like forgive me for
being a stapler-layperson.
Whoever invented the stapler button can take this blog and
shove it up their ass.

As all staplers with which I have come into contact have this feature, it is unlikely to raise prices.
Moreover, I would rather have more rather than fewer choices.
So stop bitching...
Why don't you use the automatic stapler in our xerox machine instead ... that will make the life simple :)
i agree what u r saying
but it is irrelevant whether the pin turns
outwards or inwards as long as it turns
and binds the papers.
why dont u write the blog on some more interesting topics, (not me)
i can give u some suggestions ...
how to crash more parties in downtown?

If every stapler came with a free hubcap, would the hubcap really be free? No. It is a waste of human energy to produce garbage. If we all strived for simplicity, there would be less garbage in the world.
This feature is actually quite useful. When the staples are set to turn outwards, you can staple through significantly more pages. I don't know why this is, but I have found it to be true. In general, though, people like them to turn inwards, so it's nice to have a choice.
The outwards bending staple does actually serve a purpose, and it's properly known as 'pinning'. Read all about it here:
